Prompts are the main way to interact with image generation models such as Gemini, DALL·E, and Adobe Firefly.

Producing an Image

Example 1 – Blog illustration:

Example 2 – Presentation cover:

  • Prompt:

Exploring Artistic Ideas

Example 1 – Style variations:

  • Prompt:
    “Take this photo of a city street (attached) and generate three versions: one in watercolor style, one as a comic book illustration, and one as a neon cyberpunk scene.”

Example 2 – Experimenting with art styles:

  • Prompt:
    “Create an image of a tree on a hill in the style of a vintage oil painting at sunset.”

Transforming an Image

Example 1 – Adding elements:

  • Prompt:
    “In this image of a living room, add a Christmas tree in the corner near the window, decorated with warm lights.”

Example 2 – Removing elements:

  • Prompt:
    “Remove the person in the background of this photo and fill in the missing area so it looks natural.”

Describing Image Content

Example 1 – Accessibility / alt text:

    “Write an alternative text (alt text) description for this image that could be used for screen readers.”
