Social engineering means using psychology to trick people into giving information or doing something unsafe.
Instead of hacking software, attackers “hack” your trust.

Example:
An email says, “Urgent! Your account will be deleted in 2 hours — click here to fix it.”
That fear and urgency push you to click before thinking.
