Chapter Activity: “Secure My System!”

Goal: Check your own device’s security hygiene.

Instructions:
1️⃣ Go to your computer’s settings or control panel.
2️⃣ Find:

• User accounts → check if you’re admin or standard.
• System updates → are they automatic?
• Antivirus status → is it turned on?
  3️⃣ Write a short note in the LMS journal:

“Today I checked my system. I found that automatic updates are (on/off), antivirus is (on/off), and I plan to improve by ____.”

Extension:
Research a real OS vulnerability (like Windows “BlueKeep” or Android “Stagefright”) and describe what mistake allowed hackers in.
